What a Shopify store costs, bill by bill

Each total is subscription + (sales × the plan’s online card percentage) + (orders × 30¢). It leaves out apps, themes, taxes, shipping labels, currency conversion and in-person sales.
WHERE THE PLANS CROSS
Each step up costs more a month and takes 0.2 percentage points less of every online card sale. The 30¢ per order is the same on all three plans, so the crossover depends on your sales, not your order size.

How it is worked out: the subscription difference divided by the card-rate difference. On monthly billing, ($105 − $39) ÷ 0.2% = $33,000 a month. Below a crossover, the cheaper plan wins on fees alone.
At $25,000 a month on monthly billing, Basic has the lowest fees.
